Prior to joining the NCAA membership services staff in August 2006, Carol was the senior associate athletic director/senior woman administrator at Butler University for seven years where she supervised eleven of the men's and women's athletic teams, and the department's academic support and compliance programs. Carol's involvement in athletics extended beyond her work at Butler to include membership on various NCAA committees, Horizon League committees, and event management positions for athletic competitions hosted by the city of Indianapolis. Prior to arriving at Butler, Carol worked in the athletic academic support programs at Texas A&M University, the University of Illinois (Champaign), and Arizona State University. Carol received a bachelor's degree in education from Arizona State University, and her master's degree in athletic administration from Illinois State University.
